Fear not death, for the sooner we die the longer we shall be immortal.Benjamin Franklin This memorial website was created to remember our loving son
Michael Patrick Brown who was born at K.I. Sawyer AFB, Michigan on
July 14, 1976 and passed away on
May 7, 2013. Michael, you will live forever in our memories and our hearts.
Michael loved cooking, fishing, camping, hiking and any outdoor activity. He loved his dog, Alaska an Alaskian Huskey and she loved him. Michael was a free spirit and lived life the way he wanted to. He literally traveled the country and made friends everywhere he went. He never knew a stranger and was always willing to help in anyway he could. Material things didn't mean much to Michael. He would live in a mansion or a tent, made no difference to him as long has he was free.
Michael served his country as a United States Marine. He was stationed at Paris Island, South Carolina and Virginia Beach.
Michael lived in Charleston, WV and met a wonderful girl named Brittany. Brittany was a God-send to Michael and was constantly by his side. Brittany, we love you.
Michael took his own life this year in May. We will never know why but we do know God is gracious, loving and forgiving and He has been with us as we face the days ahead.
Michael, I think of you every day. I miss you greatly but I love you more. Safe passage, my son.
